Huế

Huế is one of Vietnam's former capitals and boasts Vietnam's royal palace. Modeled after the Forbidden City in Beijing, Huế's Imperial City is smaller but well worth a visit. The central city also has several imperial tombs on its outskirts that are very elaborate. Huế is also well-known for being the site of a major battle during the Vietnam War's Tet Offensive.
